A RESOLUÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS COMO METODOLOGIA PARA O ENSINO DA GEOMETRIA PLANA: TRABALHANDO CONCEITOS DE ÁREA E PERÍMETRO
O objetivo desse trabalho é verificar se a resolução de problemas é uma eficiente estratégia didática para a aprendizagem de conceitos de geometria plana no segundo ano do Ensino Médio. Para a obtenção dos dados, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo de natureza qualitativa e descritiva, com 31 alunos de duas turmas do segundo ano de uma escola pública de Juazeiro-BA. Para a realização dessa pesquisa, inicialmente, foi aplicado um teste de sondagem para os alunos, posteriormente foi realizada em sala, a correção do teste de sondagem utilizando a Resolução de Problemas voltada para conceitos de geometria plana e, por fim, foi aplicado um teste de verificação com os alunos. Os dados obtidos mostraram que a aplicação da Resolução de Problemas favoreceu a melhoria dos resultados dos alunos no teste de verificação, assim como pôde ser observada, em uma parcela dos sujeitos da pesquisa, a compreensão de conceitos no momento dedicado à correção do teste de sondagem.

Abstract:
The objective of this work is to verify if problem solving is an efficient didactic strategy for the learning of plane geometry concepts in the second year of high school. To obtain the data, a qualitative and descriptive field research was carried out, with 31 students from two classes of the second year of a public school in Juazeiro-BA. To carry out this research, initially, a probing test was applied to the students, later, it was carried out in the classroom, the correction of the probing test using problem solving focused on concepts of plane geometry and, finally, a test of verification with students was applied. The data obtained showed that the application of problem solving favored the improvement of the students' results in the verification test, as well as, it could be observed that, in a portion of the research subjects, the understanding of concepts at the time dedicated to the correction of the test.
