A REPRESENTAÇÃO SOCIAL DA MORTE PARA ENFERMEIROS DE DIFERENTES RELIGIÕES
Pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa, fundamentada na Teoria das Representações Sociais na sua abordagem estrutural, definida pela Teoria do Núcleo Central. Possui como objetivo descrever a estrutura da Representação Social da morte para enfermeiros de diferentes religiões. Participaram 198 enfermeiros de um Hospital Universitário e para a coleta de dados utilizou-se duas técnicas: o questionário de caracterização socioeconômica e a evocação ou associação livre de palavras, utilizando o termo indutor “morte”. A análise da caracterização dos participantes foi feita com o auxílio de uma planilha do Excel®, através de estatística descritiva simples e a análise das evocações foi realizada com auxílio do software EVOC, versão 2005. O termo tristeza foi o mais expressivo, compondo o provável núcleo central juntamente com os termos medo, fim e passagem. Esses termos demonstram que o provável núcleo central é composto majoritariamente pela dimensão afetiva. A análise das variáveis demonstrou aspectos práticos e funcionais, com os termos fim e passagem, e maior expressividade da dimensão afetiva, com os termos medo, tristeza e sofrimento. Os resultados apontam que as representações sociais da morte possuem diferentes dimensões, sendo sua característica principal a afetiva, consubstanciada pelo sentimento de tristeza e saudade, assim como marcada pela dor e pelo sofrimento da despedida. Possui ainda a dimensão imagética de passagem, onde conhecimentos científicos e crenças religiosas se encontram e se complementam no processo de construção da representação da morte.

Abstract:
A descriptive, qualitative research guided by the Social Representation Theory in its structural approch, defined by the central nucleus theory. It aims to describe the structure of Social Representation of death for nurses of different religions. Interviews were conducted with 198 nurses from a Universtity Hospital. For the data collection, it was used the sociodemographic questionnaire and the technique of words evocation to the term inducer "death". For the analysis, the data of questionnaire were organized in Excel software by simple descriptive statistics and the evocations analysis was realized with the EVOC software 2005 version. The term sadness was the most expressive, probably assumpting the central core theory with the terms fear, end and passing. Theses terms shows that the likely central core is mostly composed by the affective dimention. The analysis of varibles showed practical and functional aspects, with the terms end and passing and the greater expressiveness of the affective dimention, with the terms fear, sadness and suffering. The results show that social representation of death have different dimensions, which the main caractheristic of which is affective, embodied by the feelings of sadness and missing, as well as marked by pain and suffering farewell. There’s a imagery dimention of the passing where cientific knowledge and religious beliefs meet and complement each other on the construction process of death’s representation.
