A POLÍTICA BRASILEIRA PARA A ENERGIA ELÉTRICA E AS CRISES DO SETOR: UM ESTUDO SOBRE O PERÍODO 1995-2016
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central apresentar os principais desenvolvimentos políticos ocorridos no setor de energia elétrica brasileiro no período 1995-2016, caracterizado por profundas reformas institucionais e regulatórias e duas severas crises setoriais, com importantes implicações macroeconômicas. Dentro deste contexto, o trabalho procura ressaltar também as lições de tais eventos para a formulação de políticas futuras. A metodologia usada é de natureza histórica, observacional e comparativa, com uma abordagem bibliográfica, descritiva e documental. Como principais resultados, o trabalho destaca a profundidade das políticas realizadas no setor ao longo do período e a relação dessas políticas com as crises do setor.

Abstract:
The main objective of this paper is to present the main political developments that took place in the Brazilian electricity sector in the period 1995-2016, characterized by deep institutional and regulatory reforms and two severe sectorial crises, with important macroeconomic implications. Within this context, the work also seeks to highlight the lessons of such events for the formulation of future policies. The methodology used is historical, observational and comparative in nature, with a bibliographic, descriptive and documentary approach. As main results, the work highlights the depth of the policies carried out in the sector over the period and the relationship of these policies with the sector's crises.
