A PESQUISA INTERDISCIPLINAR NA MEDICINA COMO PILAR FUNDAMENTAL PARA A PROMOÇÃO DA SAÚDE
O rápido avanço da ciência possibilitou o conhecimento de questões antes inimagináveis. Contudo, quanto mais se estudava, mais se percebia que o conhecimento era vasto e exigia ainda mais atenção. Foi nesse contexto de necessidade de integração dos conhecimentos que surgiu o conceito de interdisciplinaridade. Tal termo diz respeito à aplicação do estudo e análise crítica entre as múltiplas áreas do conhecimento de forma associativa para a resolução de um único problema. Foi durante o começo dos anos 60 que a ideia de interdisciplinaridade começou sua ascensão como um novo modo mais inteligente de se investigar, compreender e repassar conteúdos. A associação entre pontos de vista distintos que observam um mesmo todo facilitam sua compreensão, e esse é o cerne de toda a ideologia que põe a comunicação entre disciplinas distintas como sendo benéfica para o processo de ensino e pesquisa. Portanto, esse estudo tem como objetivo discorrer sobre a interdisciplinaridade, sua definição, histórico, atualidades e importância, em especial, à área da saúde como um pilar fundamental para a promoção da saúde.

Abstract:
The rapid advancement of science has made it possible to understand previously unimaginable issues. However, the more people studied, the more they realized that knowledge was vast and required even more attention. It was in this context of the need to integrate knowledge that the concept of interdisciplinarity emerged. This term refers to the application of the study and critical analysis between multiple areas of knowledge in an associative way to solve a single problem. It was during the beginning of the 60s that the interdisciplinary idea started it's ascension as a new and more intelligent way to investigate, comprehend and pass the knowledge ahead. The association between distinct points of view that observe the same hole facilitate its understanding, and that is the core of all the ideology that puts the communication between different disciplines as being beneficial to the processes of teaching and researching. This study has as objectives discourse about the interdisciplinary, its definition, historic, actualites, and importance, in particular, to the healthcare area as a fundamental pillar for health promotion.
