A PESQUISA DA OBESIDADE, DA HIPERTENSÃO E DO DIABETES MELLITUS EM AFRODESCENDENTES NA COMUNIDADE QUILOMBOLA DO ABACATAL NO MUNICÍPIO DE ANANINDEUA – PARÁ
Doenças crônicas não transmissíveis
como obesidade, Diabetes Mellitus e
Hipertensão arterial atingem uma quantidade
significativa da população mundial. Conhecer
os fatores que propiciam o surgimento dessas
doenças é de grande importância para os
profissionais da saúde, pois estes devem estar
preparados para planejar medidas que visem
o diagnóstico precoce e o tratamento efetivo
dessas enfermidades. Na região Amazônica,
nota-se a presença de comunidades quilombolas
espalhadas por diversos municípios, entre
estes o município de Ananindeua, abriga a
Comunidade do Abacatal, na qual se deseja
descobrir relações ambientais e genéticas que
favorecem o desencadeamento nas populações
afro-descendentes de diabetes e hipertensão,
mediante a análise da prevalência nesses
indivíduos, que experimentam certo isolamento
de centros urbanos.

Abstract:
Chronic non-communicable
diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus
and hypertension reach a significant amount
of the world’s population. Knowing the factors
that lead to the emergence of these diseases
is of great importance for health professionals,
who must be prepared to plan measures aimed
at the early diagnosis and effective treatment
of these diseases. In the Amazon region,
we can observe the presence of quilombola
communities scattered throughout several
municipalities, among them the municipality of
Ananindeua, home to the Abacatal Community,
in which it is desired to discover environmental
and genetic relationships that favor the triggering
in afro-descendant populations of diabetes and
hypertension, by analyzing the prevalence
in these individuals, who experience some
isolation from urban centers.
