A PARTICIPAÇÃO DO PAI NO PROCESSO DO NASCIMENTO E AS INFLUÊNCIAS NO CUIDADO AO RECÉM-NASCIDO
Objetivo: Identificar a participação do pai no processo do nascimento e o reflexo no cuidado ao recém-nascido. Método: Pesquisa exploratório-descritiva de abordagem qualitativa com 20 puérperas de 05 a 30.09.2016. Resultado: Emergiram 07 classes: 1. Presença do acompanhante no pré-natal e satisfação para a mulher; 2. Participação do acompanhante e sentimento de segurança na parturiente; 3. O pai como acompanhante e o reflexo nos cuidados ao recém-nascido; 4. Participação do companheiro e o reflexo nos cuidados a puérpera; 5. O impacto no preparo de uma nova gestação; 6. Mudança de comportamento do companheiro na visão da puérpera; 7. Falta de orientação e a vivência da gestante. Conclusão: A participação do pai nesse processo gerou mudanças nos cuidados ao recém-nascido no puerpério.

Abstract:
Objective: To identify the participation of the father in the process of birth and the reflex in the care of the newborn. Method: Exploratory-descriptive research of qualitative approach with 20 puerperae from 05 to 30.09.2016. Result: 07 classes emerged: 1. Prenatal companion presence and satisfaction for the woman; 2. Participation of the companion and feeling of safety in the parturient; 3. The father as companion and reflex in caring for the newborn; 4. Participation of the partner and the reflex in the care of the puerpera; 5. The impact on the preparation of a new pregnancy; 6. Change of behavior of the partner in the vision of the puerpera; 7. Lack of guidance and the experience of the pregnant woman. Conclusion: The father's participation in this process led to changes in the care of the newborn in the puerperium.
