A MODELAGEM MATEMÁTICA NUMA EXPERIÊNCIA DIDÁTICA COM FUTUROS PROFESSORES DA UNEMAT: APLICAÇÃO DA INTEGRAL DEFINIDA DE UMA VARIÁVEL REAL
Este trabalho apresenta o relato de experiência com a utilização do processo de Modelação como uma das atividades avaliativas da disciplina de Cálculo Diferencial e Integral I, no curso de Licenciatura em Matemática da Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso – UNEMAT, campus de Sinop, no segundo semestre ano de 2017. Com objetivo de buscar um maior envolvimento e interesse por parte dos futuros professores, proporcionar situações para que compreendam que a Matemática pode ser utilizada em diferentes contextos e, principalmente, contribuir na construção do conhecimento do futuro professor, incentivando-o à pesquisa, propôs-se a modelagem matemática, por meio de algum software livre, de uma taça com uma capacidade de 300ml. Indicou-se também que o volume fosse calculado utilizando sólidos de revolução, uma aplicação de integrais. Os softwares livres utilizados pelos estudantes foram o Geogebra e o Winplot. Após as atividades analisamos os resultados obtidos utilizando as etapas de Modelação. Além disso, observamos a íntima relação do resultado final do trabalho com a participação efetiva por parte dos futuros professores nos momentos de acompanhamento e atendimento.

Abstract:
This work presents the experience report with the use of the Modelling process as one of the evaluative activities of the Differential and Integral Calculus I subject, in the Mathematics Degree course at the Mato Grosso State University - UNEMAT, Sinop campus, in the second semester of 2017. In order to seek greater involvement and interest by the future teachers, to provide situations so that they understand that Mathematics can be used in different contexts and, mainly, to contribute to the future teachers’ knowledge building, encouraging them to research, it was proposed the mathematical modelling, through some free software, of a goblet with a 300ml capacity. It was also indicated that the volume was supposed to be calculated using solids of revolution, an application of integrals. The free software used by students were Geogebra and Winplot. After the activities, we analyzed the results achieved by the use of the Modelling steps. In addition, we observed the close relationship between the work final result and the effective participation of the future teachers in the moments of monitoring and attendance.
