Abstract: The research paradigm guides both the research methodology and the pedagogical approach. This article explores Constructivism as an emerging paradigm underpinning qualitative research and case study-based teaching. Constructivism focuses on the consensual interpretation of knowledge and constructing meaning through dialectical interactions. In research methodology, this paradigm emphasizes the interpretation of the meanings of individuals' intentional states and the constructions of reality itself. The case study is highlighted as a pedagogical methodology that allows students to apply, synthesize and integrate theoretical knowledge into practical situations, promoting the development of analytical, decision-making and leadership skills. This article presents significant practical implications for research and pedagogical practice. By adopting the constructivist paradigm, researchers and educators can address not only qualitative research methodologies, but also teaching strategies centered on case studies. This approach highlights the importance of consensual interpretation in the construction of knowledge, promoting active dialogue between instructors and students to reconstruct different perspectives. Additionally, it provides detailed guidance on the effective implementation and conduct of case studies in learning environments, highlighting the role of the educator as facilitator, coach, and demonstrator in promoting critical thinking and informed decision-making.
