A INFLUÊNCIA DA TELEMEDICINA NA RELAÇÃO MÉDICO-PACIENTE NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19
INTRODUÇÃO: Ao final de 2019, na China, foi identificado novo Coronavírus causador de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG), o vírus causador (SARS-CoV-2) rapidamente se espalhou instaurando regime de pandemia. A situação infecto-contagiosa desencadeou fenômeno de distanciamento social buscando reduzir a transmissão do vírus, efetuada por meio de contato próximo com gotículas respiratórias. Sendo assim, evitar ambientes hospitalares potencialmente contaminantes é importante, assim o atendimento presencial vem sendo substituído pelo atendimento virtual, dando lugar a telemedicina, questiona-se acerca do exercício de uma boa Relação Médico-Paciente (RMP) em um atendimento não presencial. OBJETIVOS: Analisar o impacto da telemedicina na RPM frente às adversidades da pandemia do COVID-19. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS: As buscas foram realizadas nas bases de dados bibliográficos UpToDate, Scielo e PubMed por meio das palavras-chaves “relações médico-pacientes”, “pandemia”, “telemedicina” indexadas no Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS). Publicados nos anos de 2012 a 2021, em português e inglês, que analisam a RPM e telemedicina na pandemia. DISCUSSÃO: A RPM deve ser baseada na comunicação e empatia do profissional pela situação que o paciente está vivendo, devendo compreender e sensibilizar-se com o enfermo, acolhendo-o durante a consulta e, consequentemente, fazendo que ele se sinta capaz de se expressar. As tecnologias de saúde surgem, nesse contexto, como ferramenta para aproximação do médico com o paciente, impactando diretamente na recuperação do paciente. CONCLUSÃO: A pandemia do COVID-19 criou uma necessidade de modificar a relação médico-paciente com o objetivo de garantir a segurança tanto do profissional como do paciente sem perder a qualidade no atendimento. Para isso, a telemedicina tornou-se uma opção especialmente nesse momento de pandemia em que o contato físico e social teve que ser restringido.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: By the end of 2019, in China, a new virus was identified, responsible for a severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), the virus (SARS-Cov-2) rapidly disseminated throughout the globe defining a pandemic state. The infectious-contagious situation brought the social distancing as a way of reducing the virus transmission, since the infection happens through close contact with breathing droplets. Therefore, it is extremely important to avoid hospitals, ambients of risks of infection, so face-to-face service has been replaced by virtual care, giving way to telemedicine; however, the question arises about the exercise of a good Physician-Patient Relationship (PPR) in a non-presential. OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the impact of telemedicine in PPR in face of the adversities of the COVID-19 pandemic. MATERIALS AND METHODOS: The searches were performed in the bibliographic databases UpToDate, Scielo e PubMed with the key-words “physician-patient relations”, “pandemics”, “telemedicine”, indexed in Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS). Articles published in the years 2012 to 2021, written in Portuguese and English, subjects related to PPR, telemedicine and pandemics. DISCUSSION: PPR must be based on the professional's communication and empathy for what the patient is going through, must understand and be sensitive to the patient, embracing him during the consultation and, consequently, making him/her feel able to express his feelings. Health technologies emerge, in this context, as a tool to bring closer doctors and patients, directly impacting on the patient's recovery. CONCLUSION: The pandemic of COVID-19 created a need to modify the physician-patient relations in order to ensure safety, of professional and patient, without losing quality in care. For this, telemedicine became an option especially in this pandemic moment when physical and social contact had to be restricted.
