A Inclusão de Alunos Surdos: Acesso e Permanência na Universidade
Este estudo aborda a Inclusão dos alunos surdos realizando uma pesquisa histórica referente às lutas que deram origem aos direitos conquistados até os dias atuais, apresentando uma breve análise das leis que os amparam, bem como uma análise acerca da inclusão dos alunos surdos na Universidade Estadual do Paraná – Campus Paranaguá, objetivando conhecer como a inclusão acontece nesta instituição, quais os mecanismos para que isso aconteça e ainda, entender a contribuição de professores, alunos e intérpretes neste processo. Incialmente realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, buscando na literatura pertinente documentos que dessem embasamento teórico. Em um segundo momento foram aplicados questionários com perguntas dissertativas que buscavam respostas a respeito da inclusão e que envolviam questões para aqueles que participam de alguma forma, do segundo ano de pedagogia da referida Universidade. Após a análise das respostas referentes aos questionários foi verificado que os professores compreendem a necessidade da interação entre professor e aluno, porém identificam-se com o despreparo para atender estes alunos. Os alunos surdos, em sua maioria, relatam que não se sentem incluídos na Universidade, devido à dificuldade na comunicação, os intérpretes relatam desconhecer esforços por parte dos professores para incluir o aluno surdo na sala de ensino regular, bem como não identificam alternativas, por parte dos professores, para possibilitar o melhor aprendizado a esses alunos. Com relação aos alunos ouvintes, grande parte acredita que o processo de inclusão está acontecendo na turma que estão inseridos, porém há uma parcela que apresenta críticas a este processo.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the inclusion of deaf students, conducting a historical research concerning the struggles that gave birth to the rights conquered until the present day, presenting a brief analysis of the laws that support them, as well as an analysis about the inclusion of deaf students at the State University of Paraná – Paranaguá Campus, aiming to know how the inclusion happens in this institution, what mechanisms for this to occur and also, understand the contribution of teachers, students and interpreters in this process. Initially a bibliographical research was carried out, searching in the pertinent literature documents that gave theoretical basis. In a second moment questionnaires were asked with questions that sought answers about inclusion and which involved questions for those who participate in some form of the second year of pedagogy of the mentioned University. After analyzing the answers regarding the questionnaires, it was verified that the teachers understand the need of the interaction between teacher and student, but identify themselves with the lack of preparation to attend these students. Deaf students, for most part, report that they do not feel included in the University, because of the difficulty in communication, the interpreters report that they do not know the efforts of the teachers to include deaf students in the regular classroom, nor do they identify alternatives, for part of the teachers, to enable the best learning for these students. With regard to hearing students, a large part believe that the inclusion process is happening in the group they are inserted, but there is a portion that criticizes this process.
