A IMPORTÂNCIA DO ESTUDANTE DE MEDICINA NA SAÚDE DA MULHER: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Dentro da metodologia ativa PBL (Problem Based Learning), uma das disciplinas cursadas é o IESC (Interação e Ensino da Saúde na Comunidade). Nela, alunos do curso de medicina, visitam as UBS (Unidades Básicas de Saúde) e aprendem, desde o primeiro semestre, que o vínculo e o ato da territorialização são extremamente importantes na atenção primária presentes no SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde), principalmente quando a atenção se volta para saúde da mulher. Dentro das áreas específicas da medicina, temos a ginecologia para estudo global da mulher, abrangendo quadros fisiológicos e patológicos. É uma especialidade delicada, e de suma importância para a população feminina, já que abrange uma gama de prevenção, diagnóstico e tratamento de doenças, como exemplos ISTs e, principalmente, algumas classes de cânceres específicos desta população. Sendo assim, tal trabalho tem como objetivo relatar o caso de uma paciente que se afastou da UBS por motivos específicos e demonstrar a importância do estudante de medicina nesta aproximação entre Unidade Básica de Saúde e comunidade. Para tanto, os métodos empregados foram visitas domiciliares semanais no Bairro Ângela Rosa do município de Franca, interior de São Paulo.

Abstract:
Inside the active methodology PBL (Problem Based Learning), one of the present disciplines is IESC (Interaction and Teaching of Health in the Community). In which the medical students visit the UBSs (Basic Health Units) and have learned, since the first semester, that the bond and act of territorialization are extremely important in the present primary attention at SUS (Unified Health System), especially when it turns to the women's health. Within the specific areas of medicine, we have gynecology to global study of women to reach physiological and pathological conditions. It’s a delicate specialty, and have great importance for the feminine population, since it embraces a range of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, such as STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) and, especially, some groups of cancer. Therefore, this essay aims to relate a case of a patient who gets away from the UBS for specific reasons and to demonstrate the importance of the medical student in this relationship between the Basic Health Unit and the community. Thus, the employed methods were weekly home visits in the Angela Rosa neighborhood in the city of Franca, in the countryside of São Paulo.
