A IMPORTÂNCIA DAS ORIENTAÇÕES DO ENFERMEIRO DO TRABALHO SOBRE O USO CORRETO DE EPI’S
O papel do enfermeiro do trabalho tem sido considerado indispensável dentro das organizações, uma vez que, sua atuação abrange todo o processo de prevenção de acidentes ocupacionais, com a correta orientação quanto ao uso de Equipamentos de Proteção Individual - EPI’s, proporcionando um ambiente com maior desempenho e com mais segurança e conforto ao trabalhador. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar a importância das orientações do enfermeiro do trabalho sobre o uso correto de EPI’s através de estudos publicados no período compreendido entre 2002 e 2015. No referencial teórico que o norte de toda esta pesquisa serão apresentados os tópicos: Conceito de acidente de trabalho; Equipamentos de Proteção Individual – EPI’s e Enfermagem do trabalho na orientação e prevenção de acidentes na saúde ocupacional, mostrando as principais características do assunto. Observou-se que o enfermeiro do trabalho tem um papel significativo na saúde ocupacional, no que se refere ao trabalho educativo na utilização correta dos equipamentos de segurança individual, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de estratégias que visem reduzir os riscos de acidentes ocupacionais que são apresentados no ambiente laboral.

Abstract:
The role of the occupational nurse is considered an indispensable part of any organization, since it encompasses the entire occupational accident prevention process, which includes instructing workers regarding the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) with the goal of creating an environment that results in greater performance, safety and comfort for the worker. This study aims to analyze the importance of the instruction provided by the occupational health nurse regarding the proper use of PPD’S using studies published during the period between 2002 and 2015. The following topics will be presented in the theoretical framework that serves as a reference for the entire study: the concept of the occupational accident; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s); the role of the Occupational Health Nurse in the guidance and prevention of accidents regarding occupational health. These topics reveal the main themes of the subject. It was observed that the occupational health nurse plays a significant role in occupational health with regard to occupational education regarding the proper use of personal protective equipment, thus contributing to the development of strategies aimed at reducing the risks of occupational accidents that may occur in the occupational environment.
