A IMPORTÂNCIA DA VACINAÇÃO INFANTIL PARA A PREVENÇÃO DE DOENÇAS: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Relatar a experiência de educação em saúde sobre a importância da vacinação infantil para a prevenção de doenças. METODOLOGIA: Estudo descritivo, qualitativo, do tipo relato de experiência, realizada em uma Estratégia de Saúde da Família de Picos/PI, por alunos do Curso de Enfermagem de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior, durante o mês de novembro/2022. As ações educativas em saúde foram relacionadas à importância da vacinação para a prevenção de doenças e englobaram exposição dialogada, roda de conversa e dinâmicas. RESULTADOS: A ação possibilitou uma aproximação os facilitadores e os pais das crianças, onde foi possível constatar motivação para o engajamento das atividades realizadas. Os participantes dialogaram e trocaram informações sobre o tema, o que subsidiou a aquisição de conhecimento e, por conseguinte, os pais se interessaram em avaliar os cartões de vacina dos seus filhos, e se direcionaram a sala de vacina para a atualização do calendário vacinal das suas crianças. Foi possível sensibilizá-los quanto à importância da vacinação para prevenção de várias doenças e a necessidade de superar os fatores que influencias negativamente para atualização do calendário vacinal. CONCLUSÃO: Diante do exposto, observou-se que os pais compreenderam a importância da vacinação e buscaram atualizar o cartão vacinal dos seus filhos, o que poderá contribuir redução da morbimortalidade infantil, evitando a ocorrência de surtos de doenças imunopreveníveis e melhorando a saúde de toda a população.

Abstract:
Report the health education experience on the importance of childhood vaccination for disease prevention. METHODOLOGY: Descriptive, qualitative study, of the experience report type, carried out in a Family Health Strategy in Picos/PI, by students of the Nursing Course of a Higher Education Institution, during the month of November/2022. Educational health actions were related to the importance of vaccination for disease prevention and included dialogic exposition, conversation wheel and dynamics. RESULTS: The action made it possible to approach the facilitators and the children's parents, where it was possible to verify motivation for the engagement of the activities carried out. The participants dialogued and exchanged information on the subject, which supported the acquisition of knowledge and, therefore, the parents were interested in evaluating their children's vaccination cards, and they went to the vaccination room to update the vaccination schedule of the your children. It was possible to make them aware of the importance of vaccination for the prevention of various diseases and the need to overcome the factors that negatively influence the updating of the vaccination schedule. CONCLUSION: In view of the above, it was observed that parents understood the importance of vaccination and sought to update their children's vaccination card, which could contribute to reducing infant morbidity and mortality, preventing the occurrence of outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases and improving the health of the entire population.
