A IMPORTÂNCIA DA MONITORIA DURANTE A FORMAÇÃO DO GENERALISTA: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA // THE IMPORTANCE OF TUTORING DURING MEDICAL FORMATION: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT
A monitoria acadêmica é uma estratégia que pode contribuir para a formação diferenciada do profissional de saúde, a qual proporciona ao estudante monitor ampliação de conhecimento e desenvolvimento do comportamento ético. Esse trabalho tem por objetivo relatar a experiência das autoras durante a monitoria da disciplina Farmacologia e Bioquímica do 3º período de uma instituição de ensino superior no primeiro semestre de 2018. A experiência proporcionou às monitoras a oportunidade de rever os assuntos estudados, atualizações na área de farmacologia, estabeleceu conexão com a docência. Para os estudantes, a oportunidade de trocar conhecimento e aproveitar as experiências das monitoras, além da facilidade para sanar dúvidas. Dessa forma, deve considerar a monitoria como uma parte fundamental de toda a configuração dos programas de ensino-aprendizagem e com o processo reflexivo de criação da melhor metodologia entre o docente e o monitor.

Abstract:
Academic tutoring is a strategy that can contribute to the differentiated training of health professionals, which provides the academic tutor with the expansion of knowledge and development of ethical behavior. The objective of this work is to report the experience of the authors during the tutoring of the discipline Pharmacology and Biochemistry of the 3rd period of a university in the first semester of 2018. The acquired experience provided the opportunity to review the subjects studied, to know the latest updates in pharmacology and established a connection with teaching methods. In the other hand, it provided the students the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with the tutors and access to answer questions. Thus, tutoring should be considered as a fundamental part of the entire configuration of teaching-learning programs and with the reflexive process of creating the methodology between the student and the tutor.
