A IMPORTÂNCIA DA FISIOTERAPIA EM PACIENTES COM DOENÇA DE PARKINSON: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Introdução: A doença de Parkinson (DP) é uma doença neurodegenerativa e crônica de origem idiopática, caracterizada pela morte das células neuronais da região intitulada como substância negra, sendo uma porção heterogênea do mesencéfalo e afetando de forma progressiva a qualidade de vida dos portadores. Objetivo: Relatar a importância da fisioterapia em pacientes com DP estabelecendo evidências científicas que justificam. Metodologia: A busca da literatura ocorreu no portal de pesquisa da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), usando as bases de dados, SCIELO e LILACS, e o período da busca compreendeu de fevereiro a maio de 2019. Resultados: Verificou-se a utilidade de recursos que facilitam o processo de tratamento e a importância do fisioterapeuta na reabilitação em paciente com doença de Parkinson. Conclusão: A fisioterapia trará benefícios significativos em relação às alterações que a DP causa na marcha, equilíbrio e a qualidade de vida dos pacientes.

Abstract:
Introduction: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative and chronic disease of idiopathic origin, characterized by the death of neuronal cells in the region entitled as black substance, being a heterogeneous portion of the midbrain and progressively affecting the quality of life of patients. Objective: To report the importance of physical therapy in patients with PD, establishing scientific evidence that justifies it. Methodology: The literature search took place on the research portal of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), using the databases, SCIELO and LILACS, and the period of the search comprised from February to May 2019. Results: The utility was verified of resources that facilitate the treatment process and the importance of the physiotherapist in the rehabilitation of a patient with Parkinson's disease. Conclusion: Physiotherapy will bring significant benefits in relation to the changes that PD causes in gait, balance and patients' quality of life.
