A FUNÇÃO SOCIAL DA ESCOLA E OS CAMINHOS PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UMA GESTÃO DEMOCRÁTICA E PARTICIPATIVA
Na contemporaneidade, a conquista de um espaço escolar democrático e participativo configura-se em desafio para as equipes gestoras, sendo necessário para isso, de acordo com a literatura especializada, que os sujeitos responsáveis pela mediação dos processos pedagógicos, estejam alinhados e trabalhem de maneira articulada. Nessa perspectiva, acredita-se que um trabalho alinhavado entre os membros da Equipe Gestora pode contribuir com a promoção de melhorias nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem, visando principalmente a mediação com os outros sujeitos envolvidos no processo. Sabe-se que a aprendizagem não acontece somente no âmbito escolar, os espaços não formais e mesmo informais podem também contribuir com a construção de conhecimentos por parte dos estudantes, entretanto, sendo direcionado à instituição de ensino, e aos sujeitos que trabalham nela, a responsabilidade de se estabelecer melhorias no processo educativo. Portanto, acredita-se que o presente estudo poderá oportunizar reflexões importantes e capazes de auxiliar equipes gestoras e demais sujeitos envolvidos, na busca pelo fortalecimento de práticas democráticas no âmbito escolar. Ao mesmo tempo em que, evidencia-se a necessidade de que novas pesquisas trilhem caminhos na direção do fortalecimento destas discussões no âmbito das universidades, como também, nos espaços escolares.

Abstract:
Nowadays, the achievement of democratic and participative school space is a challenge for the management teams, being necessary, according to the specialized literature, that the subjects responsible for the mediation of the pedagogical processes, being aligned and work in a way articulated. In this perspective, it is believed that aligned work among the members of the Management Team can contribute to the promotion of improvements in the teaching and learning processes, aiming mainly at mediation with the other subjects involved in the process. It is known that learning does not happen only at school, non-formal and even informal spaces can also contribute to the construction of knowledge by students, however, being directed to the educational institution, and to the subjects who work there, the responsibility for establishing improvements in the educational process. Therefore, it is believed that the present study may provide important reflections that are capable of assisting management teams and other subjects involved, in the search for strengthening democratic practices in the school environment. At the same time, it is evident the need for new research to follow paths in the direction of strengthening these discussions within universities, as well as in school spaces.
