A CULINÁRIA UCRANIANA NA CIDADE DE PRUDENTÓPOLIS, PARANÁ: ASPECTOS DA IMIGRAÇÃO E A INFLUÊNCIA CULTURAL DAS COMIDAS TÍPICAS
O presente artigo tem o objetivo
de demostrar à importância da culinária
ucraniana na cidade de Prudentópolis, Paraná.
O munícipio de Prudentópolis esta localizado
na região Centro-sul deste estado. Está região
recebeu elevada quantidade de imigrantes
eslavos com a maior proporção de ucranianos
após a segunda metade do século XIX. Estes
imigrantes trouxeram com sigo suas culturas
e costumes, inclusive sua culinária. O artigo
evidenciará cinco comidas típicas tradicionais
dos imigrantes da Ucrânia mais consumidas
em seu cotidiano e nos períodos de festas
comemorativas. Além de detalhar algumas
comidas típicas da culinária eslava, em
especial as mais consumidas pelos ucranianos
na cidade de Prudentópolis, também foram
abordadas alguns aspectos do processo de
migração. Em suma, foi possível concluir que a
culinária ucraniana é componente fundamental
na cultura, principalmente no município de
Prudentópolis onde há elevada concentração
de ucranianos, de modo que é imprescindível
que os habitantes de Prudentópolis não percam
a cultura de se alimentaram cotidianamente
de suas comidas típicas, ou ao menos nos
períodos festivos para que suas raízes não
sejam esquecidas pelas próximas gerações.

Abstract:
This article aims to demonstrate
the importance of Ukrainian cuisine in the city
of Prudentópolis, Paraná. The municipality of
Prudentópolis is located in the Center-south
region of this state. This region received high
numbers of Slavic immigrants with the highest
proportion of Ukrainians after the second half
of the nineteenth century. These immigrants
brought with them their cultures and customs,
including their cuisine. The article will highlight
five typical traditional foods of the Ukrainian
immigrants most consumed in their daily lives
and in the commemorative holiday periods.
In addition to detailing some typical dishes of
the Slavic cuisine, especially the ones most
consumed by the Ukrainians in the city of
Prudentópolis, some aspects of the migration
process were also addressed. In short, it was
possible to conclude that Ukrainian cuisine is a
fundamental component of culture, especially
in the municipality of Prudentópolis where there
is a high concentration of Ukrainians, so it is
imperative that the inhabitants of Prudentópolis
do not lose the culture of daily food of their
typical foods , or at least in festive periods so that their roots are not forgotten by the next generations
