A CRISE DA DEMOCRACIA: LIBERDADES, POLARIZAÇÃO E DIREITO
O presente artigo é fruto de pesquisa bibliográfica em que se buscou identificar tanto na literatura política nacional e internacional, como na literatura jurídica-constitucional nacional, a relação entre os valores das liberdades de expressão e pensamento, e seus confrontos com a polarização política enquanto fenômeno da crise da democracia liberal, e com as normas limitadoras do exercício de tais liberdades, do que se concluiu que a saída para a crise está na própria democracia, suas instituições e valores. Utilizou-se, para tanto, da técnica do referente e aplicou-se o método indutivo.

Abstract:
This paper is the result of a bibliographical research that identified on the national and international political literature, as at national constitutional and legal literature, the relation between the values of the freedoms of speech and thought, and in it confrontations with political polarization as a phenomenon of the liberal democracy crisis, as well as the rules governing the exercise of this freedoms, from which it was concluded that the solution to the crisis lies in democracy itself, its institutions and values. So that was used the technique of referent and the inductive method.
