A CONVIVÊNCIA DA POPULAÇÃO COM A ESCASSEZ DE ÁGUA NO DISTRITO DE ENCANTADO, QUIXERAMOBIM-CE
A presente pesquisa busca mostrar a situação hídrica do Distrito de Encantado município de Quixeramobim na região do Sertão Central, estado do Ceará, que faz parte do polígono das secas. Portanto, a ideia de desenvolver esse projeto surgiu devido algumas dificuldades por parte da comunidade, em compreender as causas e consequências da escassez da água. Nesse contexto, o trabalho desenvolvido, visa apresentar a situação hídrica da comunidade, além de apresentar sugestões como soluções para amenizar os problemas causados pela estiagem e pelo uso inconsciente da água pela população. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados para a realização do trabalho foi uma pesquisa de campo, com coleta de dados junto à comunidade, levantamentos interrogatórios e reuniões com a comunidade buscando soluções para a problemática em questão. A pesquisa será de grande importância para compreender os impactos causados pela estiagem na comunidade, buscando estratégias de como amenizar os problemas enfrentados pela população devido à falta d’água, apresentando possíveis ações de comportamento que diminuam o desperdício de água. O principal objetivo da pesquisa é levar a população a reconhecer que a falta de água é causada principalmente pelo clima semiárido, com baixos índices pluviométricos, porém, o uso inadequado da água, contribui para agravar o problema da falta de água. Assim, este trabalho busca evidenciar um problema bastante conhecido pelos nordestinos, a seca, trazendo para discussões a utilização dos recursos hídricos, com debates de ideias que conscientizem a comunidade que convive com a estiagem e necessita da água para sobreviver.

Abstract:
The current research aims to show the water issues of the Encantado district in the municipality of Quixeramobim in the Central Backwoods of Ceará State that is part of the drought polygon. Thus, the idea of developing this project arose due to some difficulties the community found in understanding the causes and consequences of water shortage. In this context, the following study aims to present the community’s water issue as well as to present suggestions to relieve the problems caused by the drought or by the water misuse by the population. The methodological procedure used to develop this research was the field research with data collection in the community, interrogation surveys and meetings with the community in order to find solutions to the current issue. This research will be important to comprehend the impacts caused by the drought in the community, seeking strategies on how to release the problems faced by the population due to the water shortage, presenting suggestions of actions that reduce the waste of water. The main goal of this research is to lead the population to recognize that water shortage is mostly caused by the semi-arid climate with low rainfall indexes, however, the water misuse contributes to make the water shortage issue worse. Thus, this study aims to highlight an issue widely known by the northeast people: the drought, also, it discusses the use of water resources through debating ideas that raise awareness in the community that coexists with the drought and needs water to survive.
