A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DA TEORIA AMBIENTALISTA DE FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE COMO UMA DAS PRIMEIRAS ALTERNATIVAS PARA O COMBATE, PREVENÇÃO E CONTROLE DA PANDEMIA CAUSADA PELO COVID-19
Diante do surgimento de uma pandemia causada pelo COVID-19, o Ministério da Saúde lança como meio de resposta o Plano de Contingência Nacional como uma ferramenta de prevenção da infecção humana pelo novo coronavírus. Ao analisar as medidas iniciais adotadas e a teoria proposta pela pioneira da enfermagem moderna Florence Nightingale, é perceptível uma analogia. Essa revisão teve como principal objetivo refletir sobre a relação e contribuição da teoria ambientalista de Florence Nightingale com as recomendações e medidas adotadas inicialmente para prevenção, combate e controle do novo coronavírus. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, cuja metodologia consistiu na seleção de artigos a partir do descritor em ciências da saúde DeCS: “coronavírus” e as palavras-chave: “Florence” e “teoria”, foram encontrados cinco artigos como resultados na BVS, onde somente quatro contribuíram na construção da temática proposta e uma produção científica significativa na HERE, apresentando como resultando final que os saberes nigthingaleanos foram relevantes, importantes e cruciais no atual cenário pandêmico. Assim as medidas mais simples de controle do ambiente como: limpeza e higiene são muito eficaz para evitar propagação da infectividade desse ser microscópio e patogênico.

Abstract:
Faced with the emergence of a pandemic caused by COVID-19, the Ministry of Health launches as a means of response the National Contingency Plan as a tool to prevent human infection by the new coronavirus. When analyzing the initial measures adopted and the theory proposed by the pioneer of modern nursing Florence Nightingale, an analogy is noticeable. This review aimed to reflect on the relationship and contribution of Florence Nightingale's environmental theory with the recommendations and measures initially adopted for the prevention, combat and control of the new coronavirus. This is an integrative review, whose methodology consisted of selecting articles based on the DeCS health sciences descriptor: “coronavirus” and the keywords: “Florence” and “theory”, five articles were found as results in the VHL , where only four contributed to the construction of the proposed theme and a significant scientific production in HERE, presenting as a final result that the Nigthingale knowledge was relevant, important and crucial in the current pandemic scenario. Thus, the simplest environmental control measures such as: cleaning and hygiene are very effective in preventing the spread of the infectivity of this microscopic and pathogenic being.
