A CONSTITUIÇÃO DO ESPAÇO URBANO E AS EXPRESSÕES DAS DESIGUALDADES
O presente artigo consiste numa
pesquisa bibliográfica realizada em artigos
sobre a temática em revistas indexadas e
livros sobre o assunto, tendo como objetivo,
analisar a constituição do espaço urbano e
as expressões das desigualdades sociais, no
processo de urbanização da cidade de Vitória
– ES, no século XX, como fator modificador
do espaço urbano e social. Verificou-se que
a nova dinâmica mundial tem exigido que
as cidades se voltem para as questões que
envolvem o seu papel na cena global de uma
cidade competitiva e que deve gerar condições
de vida, de habitabilidade e de circulação, para
seus residentes. Como conclusão percebeu-se,
entretanto, que as cidades brasileiras, foram
tragadas pelo bum do mercado imobiliário
nas últimas décadas, praticamente estão com
todo seu perímetro urbano ocupados pelas
grandes construções imobiliárias. Gerando
uma segregação do espaço urbano.

Abstract:
This article is a bibliographic
research of articles on the subject in indexed
magazines and books on the subject, aiming
at a reflection on the urban space and how the
expression of social inequalities in the process
of urbanization of the city of Vitória - ES, in the
twentieth century, is a modifier of urban and
social space. It has identified itself as a new
world dynamic as the authorities have turned to
the issues surrounding their role on the global
scene of a competitive city and developing living,
living and moving conditions for its residents.
