A COMISSÃO PRÓPRIA DE AVALIAÇÃO DAS FACULDADES PRIVADAS DO SUL CATARINENSE
O presente trabalho relata a
pesquisa que objetivou analisar a relação
entre o processo de autoavaliação e gestão
institucional em três faculdades isoladas do sul
catarinense, na visão dos integrantes da CPA
(Comissão Própria de Avaliação). O estudo
valeu-se da análise de conteúdo dos Regimentos
das CPAs e entrevistas semiestruturadas com
seus membros, que nos permitiu concluir que
a composição da CPA é realizada, na maioria
das vezes, por indicação/convite da gestão
da IES, fortalecendo, por conseguinte, o
caráter gerencialista em detrimento do caráter
democrático e emancipatório.

Abstract:
This paper reports the research
that aimed to analyze the relationship between
the self-assessment process and institutional
management in three different colleges in
the South of Santa Catarina, according of
the members view of Comissão Própria de
Avaliação (CPA) [Committee for Assessment].
The study drew on the content analysis of
the CPAs Regiments and semi-structured
interviews with its members, which allowed
to conclude that the composition of CPA is
carried out, mostly by HEIs (Higher Education
Institutions) management indication/invitation,
strengthening the managerial character over
the democratic and emancipatory character.
