A CIRURGIA BARIÁTRICA ASSOCIADA À REMISSÃO DO DIABETES MELLITUS TIPO 2
O presente trabalho aplicou a metodologia de revisão integrativa de literatura no qual, foi coletado diferentes dados, com a temática voltada a cirurgia bariátrica associada à remissão da diabetes mellitus tipo 2. A discussão teve como análise pacientes que realizaram a cirurgia bariátrica, havendo a relação com a diminuição da hemoglobina glicada, IMC, LDL, circunferência abdominal e glicose sanguínea basal. Conclui-se que a cirurgia bariátrica realizada por profissionais competentes e em pacientes com recomendações cirúrgicas proporciona resultados no controle do DM2 e, até mesmo, a sua remissão.

Abstract:
The present study applied the methodology of integrative literature review in which different data were collected, with the theme of bariatric surgery associated with the remission of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The discussion had as analysis patients who underwent bariatric surgery, with the relationship with a decrease in glycated hemoglobin, BMI, LDL, waist circumference and basal blood glucose. It is concluded that the bariatric surgery performed by competente professionals and in patients with surgical recommendations provides results in the control of DM2 and, even, its remission.
