A BATALHA IMUNOLÓGICA DAS CÉLULAS CONTRA OS PATÓGENOS: A PROPOSTA DE UM MODELO DIDÁTICO TRIDIMENSIONAL DE BAIXO CUSTO PARA O ENSINO DE IMUNOLOGIA
Em detrimento a pandemia de COVID-19 que o mundo vem enfrentando, os assuntos relacionados a Imunologia estão cada vez mais em voga, despertando a atenção de todos na sociedade. No ensino superior, mais precisamente nos cursos de Ciências da Vida, os tópicos que retratam os assuntos sobre imunidade e resposta imune é a área da Imunologia. Dotada de um vasto conteúdo, muito das vezes complexo e abstrato, essa área é relatada pelos alunos como de difícil compreensão podendo desmotivar o aprendizado. Desta forma, neste artigo, propomos a construção e implementação de um modelo didático tridimensional que simula a resposta imune celular mediada pelos linfócitos T CD8+ no organismo humano. Construído com materiais simples e de baixo custo como isopor, tinta acrílica e até mesmo fios elétricos coloridos, o modelo didático aborda desde o evento de infecção celular pelos patógenos, desencadeando a resposta imune da célula infectada, culminando assim com a morte do agente infeccioso, livrando o organismo da doença. Desta maneira, acreditamos que a prática do modelo didático tridimensional de baixo custo proposto possa facilitar o ensino e a aprendizagem dos alunos tornando o assunto mais cativante propiciando ao docente efetuar uma discussão e problematização do que foi abordado potencializando ainda mais a aprendizagem dos alunos.

Abstract:
In detriment to the COVID-19 pandemic that the world has been facing, issues related to Immunology are increasingly in vogue, attracting the attention of everyone in society. In higher education, more precisely in Life Sciences courses, the topics that portray the subjects about immunity and immune response is the area of Immunology. Endowed with a vast content, often complex and abstract, this area is reported by students as understanding and may discourage learning. Thus, in this article, we propose the construction and implementation of a three-dimensional didactic model that simulates the cellular immune response mediated by CD8+ T lymphocytes in the human body. Built with simple and low-cost materials such as styrofoam, acrylic paint and even colored electrical wires, the didactic model addresses since the event of cell infection by pathogens, triggering the immune response of the infected cell, thus culminating in the death of the infectious agent freeing the disease organism. In this way, we believe that the practice of the proposed low-cost three-dimensional didactic model can facilitate the teaching and learning of students, making the subject more captivating, enabling the teacher to carry out a discussion and problematize what was addressed, further enhancing student learning.
