A ATUAÇÃO DOS ATIVISTAS PELOS DIREITOS DOS ANIMAIS NO AMBITO DAS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS PROTETIVAS
Na atualidade, vive-se numa
sociedade em que se não tolera mais a
ausência de ética e a inobservância dos
direitos dos animais silvestres, domésticos
ou domesticados, nativos ou exóticos. Diante
disso, objetiva-se neste artigo refletir sobre a
relevância da atuação dos Ativistas pelos direitos
dos animais no âmbito das políticas públicas
protetivas. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo,
básico, descritivo, bibliográfico e documental
em que se realizou a seleção e leitura das
referências bibliográficas e das normatizações
constitucionais, infraconstitucionais federais
e estaduais, bem como organização das
informações coletadas e análise e discussão
das mesmas. A corrente epistemológica adotada
pauta-se no construtivismo e no que diz respeito
a perspectiva teórica priorizada assenta-se
na investigação crítica. Os resultados deste
estudo apontam que o poder do ativismo e da
mobilização para a Causa dos Animais poderão
trazer resultados positivos no âmbito nacional,
estadual e municipal. Concluindo, a atuação
dos Ativistas é capaz de favorecer e fortalecer
um movimento nacional de defesa aos animais
na direção da implantação, implementação,
desenvolvimento e consolidação de políticas
públicas protetivas da integridade física e
psíquica dos animais não humanos.

Abstract:
Nowadays, we live in a society
where we can no longer tolerate the absence
of ethics and the non-observance of the rights
of wild, domestic or domesticated animals,
native or exotic. Therefore, this article aims to
reflect on the relevance of the activists’ actions
for the rights of animals in the scope of public
policies of protection. It is a qualitative, basic,
descriptive, bibliographical and documentary
study in which the selection and reading of
bibliographical references and constitutional,
federal and state infra-constitutional norms,
as well as the organization of the information
collected and the analysis and discussion of
them were carried out. The epistemological
current adopted is based on constructivism
and, with regard to the prioritized theoretical
perspective, is based on critical research. The
results of this study indicate that the power
of activism and mobilization for the Cause of
Animals can bring positive results at the national,
state and municipal levels. In conclusion, the
activities of the Activists are capable of favoring
and strengthening a national animal protection movement towards the implementation,
implementation, development and consolidation of public policies that protect the
physical and mental integrity of non-human animals.
