A ATUAÇÃO DO PSICÓLOGO ESCOLAR EDUCACIONAL FRENTE AOS ALUNOS COM ALTAS HABILIDADES/SUPERDOTAÇÃO
Os alunos com Altas
habilidades/Superdotação (AH/SD) são
indivíduos que apresentam desempenho mais
aguçado e grande habilidade em determinadas
áreas. O presente capítulo teve por objetivo
discutir a respeito da atuação do PEE junto a estes
alunos. Para tanto, foi discutido primeiramente
a respeito das principais características dos
alunos com AH/SD, os mitos que podem existir
dentro do ambiente escolar a respeito deles,
finalizando com as discussões sobre a atuação
do Psicólogo Escolar Educacional (PEE) frente
ao aluno com AH/SD. O PEE tem fundamental
importância no processo de desmistificação
de alguns assuntos com relação aos alunos
com AH/SD. Torna-se necessário que este
profissional trabalhe junto com a comunidade
escolar a fim de proporcionar momentos de
psicoeducação sobre os aspectos sociais,
emocionais, familiares e escolares desses
alunos, e assim contribua de maneira efetiva
para o aprendizado e desenvolvimento de suas
habilidades dentro desse contexto.

Abstract:
Students with High Skills /
Giftedness (HS/GD) are individuals with higher
performance and greater ability in certain
areas. This chapter aims to discuss about the
performance of the PEE with these students.
Therefore, it was first discussed about the main
characteristics of students with HS/GD, the myths
that may exist within the school environment
about them, ending with the discussions about
the performance of the Educational School
Psychologist (ESP) in front of the student with
HS/GD. The ESP is of fundamental importance
in the demystification process of some subjects
in relation to students with AH / SD. It is
necessary that this professional works together
with the school community in order to provide
moments of psychoeducation about the social,
emotional, family and school aspects of these students, thus contributing effectively to
the learning and development of their skills within this context.
