A APLICAÇÃO DO INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL COMO METODOLOGIA ATIVA EM PROJETO INTERDICIPLINAR NO CURSO TÉCNICO EM QUÍMICA
O presente trabalho visa relatar como foi desenvolvido o projeto interdisciplinar entre a disciplina de Inglês Instrumental e práticas de laboratório, realizadas durante o 2º ciclo do curso de Técnico em Química, na Etec Trajano Camargo, unidade Limeira. A ideia do projeto foi embasada no desenvolvimento de competências necessárias, como a articulação dos saberes, conhecimentos e processos químicos das disciplinas dispostas na matriz curricular do curso, a fim de simular situações reais, antecipando-se a situações do futuro profissional.
Para tanto, esta proposta de atividade interdisciplinar ocorreu em duas etapas: sendo a primeira composta por apresentação dos objetivos, metodologia, cronograma de trabalho e organização dos grupos de alunos. Já na segunda etapa, durantes as aulas de Inglês Instrumental, foram trabalhadas as técnicas de leitura, skimming e scanning, objetivando-se assim a utilização destas no decorrer da leitura dos textos técnicos apresentados aos grupos para as futuras atividades práticas e experimentais de laboratório. Após a prática de leitura e interpretação dos procedimentos técnicos por parte dos discentes, estes tiveram que reproduzir a teoria nas aulas práticas de laboratório e verificar os pontos positivos e negativos dos resultados alcançados. Por fim, com esta abordagem de aprendizagem, a interdisciplinaridade, pode-se notar que ambos, tanto discentes quanto docentes, passaram a ter um novo olhar, principalmente em relação a disciplina de Inglês Instrumental, que passou a ser parte integradora do curso de Técnico em Química. A prática da interdisciplinaridade permitiu aos alunos, no final do 2º ciclo, estarem aptos a interpretar textos técnicos em inglês e traduzi-los experimentalmente na forma de artefatos e/ou produtos acabados, os quais puderam ser denominados como indicadores qualitativos e quantitativos do projeto interdisciplinar.

Abstract:
This paper aims to report how the interdisciplinary project was developed between the discipline of English for specific purpose and laboratory practices, carried out during the 2nd cycle of the Chemistry Technician course, at Etec Trajano Camargo, Limeira. The project idea was based on the development of necessary skills, such as the articulation of knowledge, knowledge, and chemical processes of the subjects available in the course's curriculum, to simulate real situations, anticipating future situations of the professional future. Therefore, this proposal for an interdisciplinary activity took place in two stages: the first consisting of the presentation of the objectives, methodology, work schedule, and organization of groups of students. In the second stage, during the English for specific purpose classes, reading, skimming, and scanning techniques were worked on, to use while reading the technical texts presented to the groups for future practical and experimental laboratory activities. After the practice of reading and comprehension of the technical procedures by the students, they had to reproduce the theory in practical laboratory classes and verify the positive and negative points of the achieved results. Finally, with this learning approach, interdisciplinarity, it can be noted that both students and teachers have a new look, especially about the English for specific purpose subject, which became an integrative part of the Chemistry Technician course. The practice of interdisciplinarity allowed students, at the end of the 2nd cycle, to be able to interpret technical texts in English and experimentally translate them into artifacts and/or finished products, which could be called qualitative and quantitative indicators of the interdisciplinary project.
