A APLICABILIDADE DO MODELO DE GESTÃO LEAN HEALTHCARE EM AMBIENTES HOSPITALARES: APANHADO DE ESTUDOS DE CASOS E A PERCEPÇÃO SOBRE A APLICAÇÃO NA PROFISSÃO FARMACÊUTICA;
O modelo de gestão Lean tem seus princípios fundamentados na fábrica de automobilísticos da Toyota desde meados do século XX. A metodologia foi implantada com o intuito de fazer fluir os processos dentro de uma organização de maneira a eliminar desperdícios, fazendo uma empresa atender com excelência a real necessidade do cliente. Sua aplicação na saúde (Lean Healthcare) demonstra melhorias na qualidade de um bom atendimento aos pacientes que se beneficiam desse modelo inovador e eficaz proporcionando soluções nos principais problemas no âmbito hospitalar. Objetivos: Compreender a aplicabilidade da gestão Lean Healthcare em ambientes hospitalares deduzindo sobre a utilização desse dispositivo na atividade farmacêutica hospitalar. Buscou-se responder como a filosofia lean healthcare pode aprimorar as atividades intra-hospitalares, bem como a farmácia hospitalar. Enaltecendo a importância do farmacêutico na implantação dessa ferramenta como parte de uma gestão mais eficaz no ambiente hospitalar. Métodos: O presente artigo trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico qualitativo e descritivo. Resultados: o Lean Healthcare beneficia cada vez mais organizações mundiais e aos poucos, acontece também no Brasil e apesar de um processo novo, através de uma boa aplicação de suas ferramentas é possível visualizar erros que atrapalhem a excelência e eficiência no atendimento com clientes e pacientes, tais ferramentas visuais, possibilitam a execução de novos métodos para sanar o problema encontrado fazendo fluir os processos de maneira mais ágil. Tais resultados dependem muito da participação conjunta da equipe hospitalar envolvendo todas as áreas e classes para adquirir melhorias não somente ao paciente, mas, ao próprio meio hospitalar. Salienta-se ainda, o papel importante que o farmacêutico tem na aplicabilidade desse método, uma vez que, uma de suas atribuições é contribuir ao gerenciamento de processos que ultrapassam o ambiente de farmácia hospitalar.

Abstract:
The Lean manufacturing system has its principles consolidated in Toyota's automobile factory since the mid-twentieth century. The methodology was implemented with the objective of improving the flow of processes inside an organization aiming at eliminating wastes, which makes a company to meet the real need of the client with excellence. Its application in health (Lean in Healthcare) demonstrates improvements in the quality of patient care. The patients benefit from this innovative and effective model. Lean in health provides solutions in the main problems in the hospital scope. Objectives: To understand the applicability of lean in healthcare in the management of hospital environments, deducing the use of this instrument in the hospital pharmaceutical activity. This work aimed at answering how the philosophy of lean in healthcare could enhance intra-hospital activities as well as hospital pharmacy. A possible solution to that question is to emphasize the importance of the pharmacist in the implementation of this tool as part of a more effective management in the hospital environment. Methodology: This article was constructed upon qualitative and descriptive bibliographic study. Results: Lean in healthcare is benefiting more and more organizations worldwide and little by little it also has been utilized in Brazil. Despite it be a new process, through a good application of its tools it is possible to visualize errors that hinder the excellence and efficiency of the patients care and of customers service. These visual tools enable the execution of new methods to solve the problem found by flowing processes in a more agile way. Such results, to acquire improvements not only to the patient but to the hospital environment, depend very much on the joint participation of the hospital team in all areas and classes. It is also worth mentioning the important role that the pharmacist plays in the applicability of this method, since one of his or her responsibilities is to contribute to the management of processes that surpass the hospital pharmacy environment.
