A AMAMENTAÇÃO DE LACTANTES PROFISSIONAIS DE SERVIÇOS ESSENCIAIS EM MEIO À PANDEMIA DE COVID-19
Além de proporcionar diversos benefícios nutricionais, emocionais e psicológicos ao recém-nascido, a amamentação é fundamental para o desenvolvimento craniofacial, pois o desenvolvimento das estruturas faciais ocorre principalmente durante o processo de sucção do recém-nascido. Mulheres que amamentam também podem ser acometidas pela COVID-19, despertando assim, o questionamento na população de serviços essenciais sobre os riscos da amamentação nesse período e a segurança dos medicamentos que podem vir a serem consumidos por elas. Este estudo objetivou determinar e caracterizar o nível de conhecimento de lactantes de serviços essenciais, que administram a amamentação durante a pandemia de COVID-19, com o intuito de orientá-las acerca do manejo e os cuidados necessários na amamentação, no que se refere ao âmbito fonoaudiológico. A pesquisa apresentou uma importante reflexão sobre o tema, visto que grande parte das mães entrevistadas possuem algum grau de conhecimento acerca da prática da amamentação, seus cuidados e manejo no atual cenário.

Abstract:
In addition to providing several nutritional, emotional and psychological benefits to the newborn, breastfeeding is fundamental for craniofacial development, since the development of facial structures occurs mainly during the sucking process of the newborn. Women who breastfeed can also be affected by COVID-19, thus raising questions in the population about essential services about the risks of breastfeeding during this period and the safety of medications that they may be given. This study aimed to determine and characterize the level of knowledge of breastfeeding infants of essential services, who administer breastfeeding during the OVID-19 pandemic, in order to guide them about the management and care needed in breastfeeding, regarding the phonoaudiological scope. The research presented an important reflection on the subject, since most of the mothers interviewed have some degree of knowledge about breastfeeding practice, its care and management in the current scenario.
