A ACEITAÇÃO DO PROCESSO DE ENVELHECIMENTO DO IDOSO: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
O envelhecimento populacional está ocorrendo em um contexto de grandes mudanças sociais, culturais, econômicas, institucionais, no sistema de valores e na configuração dos arranjos familiares. A população tende a envelhecer cada vez mais e esse é um fenômeno mundial, que tem crescido de uma forma geral e mais acentuado, nos países em desenvolvimento. O objetivo foi discutir diversos assuntos inerentes ao processo de envelhecimento, sempre procurando estimular críticas e propiciando a participação democrática, preservando a integração do grupo, construindo assim pontes de conhecimento para a aceitação do processo de envelhecer, baseado em conhecimentos teóricos e práticos. Como critério de inclusão o público alvo se destinou a idosos frequentadores de Centros de Convivência e Centros Comunitários no Município de Cascavel/PR. Os encontros ocorreram mensalmente, e as atividades foram realizadas por discentes do Curso de Enfermagem. Foram utilizados recursos como materiais educativos, ilustrativos, e ciclo de palestras. Pressupõe-se que a troca de informações foi imprescindível para a melhoria do aspecto de vida e de pensamento dos participantes, os levando a acreditar que não se devem parar as atividades por completo, levando a uma melhoria da qualidade de vida dos idosos durante o envelhecimento.

Abstract:
Population aging is occurring in a context of major social, cultural, economic, institutional changes in the value system and the configuration of family arrangements. Population tends to age more and more and this is a worldwide phenomenon, which has been growing generally and more sharply in developing countries. The objective was to discuss various issues inherent to the aging process, always seeking to stimulate criticism and fostering democratic participation, preserving the group's integration, thus building knowledge bridges for the acceptance of the aging process, based on theoretical and practical knowledge. As an inclusion criterion, the target audience was aimed at elderly people living in Community Centers and Community Centers in Cascavel / PR. The meetings took place monthly, and the activities were held by students of the Nursing Course. Resources were used as educational materials, illustrative, and lecture cycle. It is assumed that the exchange of information was essential to improve the participants' life and thinking, leading them to believe that activities should not be completely stopped, leading to an improvement in the quality of life of the elderly during aging.
