Integrative and Complementary Practices in the SUS
Since the SUS (Unified Health System) is a care delivery model based on the principles of universality, integrity and equity, it is necessary to establish a humanized and efficient health system. For this, Integrative and Complementary Practices (PICs) have gained their place in the way of doing health worldwide. Therefore, this work aims to demonstrate the implementation of PICs in the Unified Health System and its impacts. This is a qualitative article, in the experience report model, using the Medline, Scielo, Pubmed and Periodico Capes databases. In addition, it used as inclusion criteria work published in the last ten years, in English or Portuguese.
