Abstract: The demand for quality sunscreens is growing globally, with Brazil as the third largest consumer in the world. Sunscreens with color and mineral filters stand out for their multifunctional formulations, ideal for sensitive skin, providing healthy and homogeneous skin. This study aims to research, develop and evaluate the physicochemical quality of a sunscreen based on. Five formulations were developed and manipulated using the BASF EcoSun Pass platform, for in silico analysis. The physicochemical analyses were performed according to the Anvisa cosmetics quality control guide. The tests performed were organoleptic characteristics (color, odor, appearance), pH, centrifugation, spreadability and “in vitro” sensory tests, such as stickiness, slip and application/coverage (standardized by the authors). The packaging label was prepared in accordance with RDC 907/2024 and RDC 629, 03/2022. Among the five formulations developed and evaluated by the BASF EcoSun Pass online in silico simulator, one was selected for accelerated stability testing, presenting satisfactory physical-chemical and in silico results, in addition to good in vitro sensory characteristics. The coverage test was satisfactory and the labeling met the standards. The sunscreen formulation with mineral base and filters showed ideal organoleptic characteristics, adequate pH, uniform coverage, dry touch and pigments adjustable to phototypes I and II.
