Abstract: The current global scenario imposes challenges on new professionals, making entrepreneurship a crucial tool to transform opportunities and diversify career options. This descriptive and quantitative study aimed to analyze the perception of entrepreneurial skills among undergraduate medical students at the University of Vassouras, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, developed by members of the Career Management and Entrepreneurship League (LIGESC). The results showed that students are interested in deepening their knowledge of entrepreneurial skills, which are currently not addressed in the medical curriculum. The research revealed that 97.77% of participants reported the absence of financial training in the institution, although 93.25% had already reflected on how to manage their financial life after graduation. In addition, 80.89% of students expressed the desire to have their own medical office, but demonstrated a lack of knowledge about what is necessary to begin this process, suggesting a knowledge gap in future career management.
