Abstract: This study aims to identify how Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is integrated into Business Administration and Accounting programs in the Brazilian Legal Amazon. The research employed a descriptive and exploratory method with a qualitative approach, using questionnaires administered to program coordinators. The final sample comprised ten valid responses. The findings reveal that ESD integration occurs in a fragmented manner, with interdisciplinary practices still under development. The main drivers for adopting sustainable practices arise from societal and market demands. The results have implications for curriculum review and for the implementation of educational policies focused on sustainability. This study contributes to the literature by addressing research gaps on ESD in a region critical to sustainable development. It also supports the improvement of management education aimed at sustainability by proposing a conceptual analytical framework and suggesting that academic training can influence the development of more responsible organizational practices in the future.
