OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INDEXES FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE ENERGIZED SHIELD WIRE LINE TECHNOLOGY
This article presents the results of the research on the operational performance of the energized lightning arrester technology (PRE) implemented in Rondônia, in the localities of Jaru and Itapuã do Oeste, in order to obtain a set of indices, here called operational reference indices. To obtain these indices, records of more than 180 months of operation of the PRE Rondônia were analyzed. In addition, the incidences of lightning in the region were analyzed, as well as the rainfall rates, and a high correlation was found between these events and the interruptions caused by lightning.
