FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LAS HACIENDAS MINERAS DEL SIGLO XVIII EN OAXACA, CASO PRÁCTICO EX HACIENDA DE LOS CINCO SEÑORES EN SANTA CATARINA LACHATAO, OAXACA
La Ex hacienda de los Cinco Señores en Santa Catarina Lachatao es un buen ejemplo del Patrimonio Histórico y de Arquitectura Industrial con orígenes a fines del siglo XVIII, construida para la explotación de la veta de Natividad en la sierra norte de Oaxaca en la extracción de plata y oro principalmente. Con extensión de 52,000 m2. En ella se realizaban actividades de trituración, lavado, molienda, mezclado con Azogue lavado de la torta y extracción del mineral mediante el sistema de patio terminando con el uso de barriles de mezclado, actualmente se conservan solo los muros sin embargo en tiempos resientes se está utilizando sus espacios para la siembre de maíz y frijol, por lo que urge su puesta en valor para su rescate y protección. Actualmente se trabaja con las autoridades municipales para la integración de u proyectos de desarrollo turístico encaminado a su protección de manera sostenible.

Abstract:
The former hacienda of Five Lords in Santa Catarina Lachatao is a good example of Industrial Heritage and Architecture with origins in the late eighteenth century, built to exploit the grain of Nativity in the Sierra Norte of Oaxaca in silver mining and gold mainly. Extension of 52,000 m2. It activities of crushing, washing, milling, mixing with Azogue cake washing and extraction of the mineral through the patio system ending with the use of barrels of mixing is performed, now preserved only the walls but in resent times is this using their spaces to sow corn and beans, and it urges its value for their rescue and protection. Currently working with municipal authorities for integration into tourism development projects aimed at sustainable protection.
