Abstract: The aim of this report is to describe the experiences gained throughout the entire process of the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP), from the first to the third module of the teaching initiation phase of the Geography Teaching Degree at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia – Santa Inês Campus (IF Baiano). Established by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the experiences reported across the three modules focus on classroom-based learning and practices in a descriptive manner at Colégio Estadual José Malta Maia, located in the municipality of Jiquiriçá, Bahia. This program aims to contribute to teacher education, which is of great importance for undergraduate teaching students to experience the realities of their future profession and to develop and mature their pedagogical practices.
