Abstract: The integration of technology into Brazilian education has emerged as one of the greatest contemporary challenges, as it involves not only technical aspects but also human, pedagogical, and managerial dimensions. This article discusses the main barriers faced in this process, highlighting the precarious infrastructure in many schools, weaknesses in continuing teacher training, and emotional and psychological difficulties such as the fear of innovation and the so-called digital impostor syndrome. In addition, the role of school management is analyzed, showing how it can either promote or hinder pedagogical innovation mediated by technology. The study also presents examples of successful practices, even in contexts of scarcity, reinforcing that technology can be a valuable ally when used critically and intentionally. Finally, the article proposes pathways for building a humanized, inclusive, and meaningful digital pedagogy capable of transforming the teaching and learning experience in Brazil.
