• Abstract: The progressive environmental deterioration, is a problem that afflicts worldwide, due to the use and inappropriate exploitation of resources, for which we are all responsible as a society, this has been attributed to certain beliefs on the part of human beings that are established through of values ​​and attitudes regarding the environment and the different behaviors or ecological behaviors. All this together determines the environmental culture that identifies peoples and society. An adequate relationship of man with his environment is necessary, because the preservation of the environment and its natural resources depends primarily on human activities individually, socially and organizationally. In this aspect, the business field is taken up again, since due to the great demand for resources necessary for production, key organisms are considered that can help to improve the care of our environment. This study proposes to identify activities carried out by the business sector in favor of the care and preservation of natural resources and therefore the environment, because they are institutions that commonly consume large scales of resources such as water, electricity; and consequently generate considerable waste, when carrying out productive activities. With the above as the first theme, it becomes important to Evaluate the Awareness of environmental care in companies that serve as a reference of the prevailing situation, in this case specifically those belonging to the municipality of La Antigua, Veracruz are considered. For this, a survey was carried out directed at employees and businessmen of said place, with the purpose of evaluating the awareness in the use of water, adequate use of electrical energy and identifying the awareness of the adequate management and use of garbage or waste generated. Significant results are presented that definitely lead to generate, implement, strengthen and reinforce activities in favor of care and preservation of the environment.
