APPLICATION OF NEODYMIUM MAGNETS IN A LOW-COST PARABOLIC CONCENTRATOR FOR SCHOOLS
The objective of this article is to contribute, through bibliographical research, on the application of parabolic concentrators with neodymium magnet motors for use in schools. This study presents the fundamentals of building a parabolic concentrator with permanent magnets, in order to serve the school population during cold climates during the academic year of educational institutions. An attempt was made to analyze the existing instruments to deal with energy savings as well as the issue of using energy in water heating. This theme was chosen, after its importance, due to the need to improve thermal comfort conditions in schools, as well as energy savings for the institution with the use of renewable energy, adapting to the UN 2030 agenda, in the end of the study verified the effectiveness of using parabolic concentrators with permanent magnets, with advantages compared to solar panels.
