ZONEAMENTOS MENSAIS DE ÁREAS FAVORÁVEIS A Aleurocanthus woglumi NO BRASIL
Este capítulo apresenta zoneamentos mensais de áreas favoráveis ao maior desenvolvimento da mosca-negra-dos-citros, Aleurocanthus woglumi Ashby, 1915 (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) no Brasil, visando apoiar estratégias de seu monitoramento e controle. Os zoneamentos foram obtidos por técnicas de geoprocessamento (ArcGIS) considerando a localização de 19 cultivos hospedeiros presentes no país, bem como fatores abióticos, que expressam tanto a maior favorabilidade ao desenvolvimento ótimo das fases do ciclo de vida do inseto quanto os médios registrados no país (considerando o período de 2009 a 2018. Com base nos zoneamentos mensais realizados foram determinados os períodos do ano de maior importância para o monitoramento e controle do inseto a nível estadual. As regiões Nordeste e Norte do país foram identificadas como as mais propícias ao desenvolvimento ótimo de A. woglumi em maior número de meses. A ausência dessa aptidão foi registrada para a região Sul.

Abstract:
The present chapter presents monthly zoning maps of favorable areas for the main development of citrus blackfly Aleurocanthus woglumi Ashby, 1915 (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) in Brazil, in order to support strategies for its monitoring and control. The zoning maps have been obtained by geoprocessing technique (ArcGIS) considering the location of 19-host-crops present in the country, as well as, abiotic factors which express both the major favorability to the optimum development of life cycle phases of the insect and the medium values registered in the country (considering the period of 2009 to 2018).Taking into account the zoning maps reached, the most propitious periods in the year of the most importance for monitoring and controlling of the insect in state level has been determined. The Northeastern and Northern regions of the country were identified as the most propitious for the optimum development of A. woglumi in a greater number of months. The lack of aptitude was registered for the Southern region.
