Abstract: This article analyzes environmental vulnerability and socio-spatial inequalities in Haiti, with a focus on public policies. It highlights the critical context faced by the country due to its exposure to natural disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, compounded by environmental degradation, including deforestation and soil erosion, which undermines the population's resilience. Socio-spatial inequalities, intensified by historical processes and the concentration of resources in urban areas, increase risks for rural and peripheral communities. Haitian public policies often lack integrated planning, resources, and investment in adequate infrastructure, while reliance on international aid frequently leads to fragmented interventions. The study concludes that a holistic approach, integrating inclusive policies, resilient infrastructure, and community participation, is essential to mitigate environmental impacts and reduce inequalities in the country.
