Estudos sobre eventos climáticos
extremos mostram-se necessários para uma
melhor compreensão do clima local. Para o
Sul do Brasil, os fenômenos do El Niño e La
Niña trazem profundas alterações nos estados
do tempo. Por isso traçou-se como objetivos
relacionar os eventos extremos de vento e
chuva como a vulnerabilidade das edificações
para a cidade de Campo Mourão, nos bairros
Vila Cândida, Jardim Pio XII, Comunidade
São Francisco e Conjunto Habitacional Milton
Luiz Pereira Cohapar, com os fenômenos
La Niña, El Niño Oscilação Sul. Verificar
a participação do sistema atmosférico na
estação da primavera devido o maior índice de
ocorrências tempestuosas, pois, é a estação
mais bordejada por massas de ares úmidas e
de alta pressão. Levantar, por meios de jornais
os eventos extremos para região de Campo
Mourão, para os dias que foram intensos fezse
um levantamento, por meio da leitura das
cartas sinóticas e das imagens de satélites,
das participações dos sistemas atmosféricos.
Considerando que a região de Campo Mourão
pode ser assolada por eventos extremos, como
ventos intensos e granizo. A pesquisa também
fez um levantamento in locus para verificar e por
meio de observações se as edificações estão
preparada estruturalmente para, no caso de
evento extremo atingir a cidade. Para investigar
a estrutura das edificações nos bairros foi
elaborada uma investigação da vulnerabilidade
das edificações e da vegetação arbustiva, as
quais possam tombar em caso de eventos
climáticos intensos, em que foram considerados
dois elementos climatológicos do tempo, a
chuva e o vento, nessa dinâmica também
foram considerados os registros de fenômenos
ocorridos em Campo Mourão no período,
investigado por meio de notícias, publicadas
pela mídia ou institutos meteorológicos. Com
os resultados analisados, foi diagnosticado que
a vulnerabilidade das edificações mostramse
frágeis em suas coberturas feitas de
fibrocimento 3 mm, estruturas de madeiras e
também das árvores de médio e grande porte
que estão localizadas próximas às edificações.
Quanto à relação entre o fenômeno o El Niño pode mudar a dinâmica das massas de
ares e esses intensificar ou não os eventos.

as intense winds and hail. The survey also did a survey in locus to verify and by means

reaches the city. In order to investigate the structure of buildings in the neighborhoods,
an investigation was made of the vulnerability of buildings and shrub vegetation, which
may fall in the event of intense climatic events, in which two climatological elements of

of phenomena that occurred in Campo Mourão in the period, investigated by means of
news, published by the media or meteorological institutes. With the results analyzed, it
was diagnosed that the vulnerability of the buildings are fragile in their coverings made
of fiber cement 3 mm, timber structures and also the medium and large trees that are
located near the buildings. As for the relationship between the phenomenon El Niño
can change the dynamics of the masses of air and those intensify or not the events.
