VIVENCIANDO VALORES E VIRTUDES NA SOCIEDADE CONTEMPORÂNEA
O artigo é proveniente de um projeto de extensão intitulado Vivenciando valores e virtudes na sociedade contemporânea o qual foi aprovado pela Pró - Reitoria de Extensão e Assuntos Comunitários – PROEX em 2022 e finalizado em 2023. Ele faz uma reflexão sobre a vivência das pessoas na sociedade atual procurando alertá-las acerca dos valores e virtudes que as acompanham diariamente e, ao mesmo tempo, visa ampliar o debate reflexivo nas mídias sociais formando consciência em relação às virtudes e valores éticos e morais como um meio para a conquista da dignidade do ser humano no meio ambiente. O referencial teórico foi baseado à luz de Araújo (2007), Marques (2001) e Boff (1999) enquanto a metodologia foi guiada em obras publicadas em livros como Gil (2002) e Fonseca (2012). A carga horária total foi de 10 horas semanais, no contraturno das aulas do (a) bolsista. As ações foram desenvolvidas no formato vídeos e postados na mídia aos internautas. Os resultados apontam que houve uma interação mediana entre a bolsista e os internautas que, curtiram e comentaram os vídeos expostos. Apesar disso, as leituras feitas pelas acadêmicas no período de desenvolvimento do projeto contribuíram para a formação e aquisição de mais conhecimentos. Assim sendo, infere-se que o respeito aos valores na escola e nos demais contextos sociais, é um dos caminhos para que alunos e professores vivam em paz, mas é necessário ainda que haja tolerância nas relações interpessoais neste e em outros espaços.

Abstract:
The article comes from an extension project entitled Experiencing values and virtues in contemporary society, which was approved by the Dean of Extension and Community Affairs – PROEX in 2022 and completed in 2023. It reflects on people's experiences in today's society, seeking to alert them about the values and virtues that accompany them on a daily basis and, at the same time, aim to expand the reflective debate on social media, forming awareness in relation to ethical and moral virtues and values as a means for achieving the dignity of the human being in the environment. The theoretical framework was based on Araújo (2007), Marques (2001) and Boff (1999) while the methodology was guided by works published in books such as Gil (2002) and Fonseca (2012). The total workload was 10 hours a week, in the after-hours of the scholarship holder's classes. The actions were developed in video format and posted in the media to Internet users. The results indicate that there was a medium interaction between the scholarship holder and the Internet users who liked and commented on the exposed videos. Despite this, the readings done by the academics during the project development period contributed to the formation and acquisition of more knowledge. Therefore, it is inferred that respect for values at school and in other social contexts is one of the ways for students and teachers to live in peace, but there is still a need for tolerance in interpersonal relationships in this and other spaces.
