VIVÊNCIA E PRÁTICAS AGROECOLÓGICAS: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA EM ASSISTÊNCIA TÉCNICA E EXTENSÃO RURAL EM MUNICÍPIOS DO RECÔNCAVO BAIANO
A agroecologia é uma ciência
multidisciplinar, cujos princípios fornecem a
construção de estilos de agricultura de base
ecológica, voltada na elaboração de estratégias
de desenvolvimento rural sustentável. Neste
contexto, objetiva relatar a experiência do
estágio de vivências e práticas agroecológicas
em assistência técnica e extensão rural
(ATER), apresentando a realidade dos
agricultores familiares nas comunidades rurais
dos Municípios do Recôncavo da Bahia para o
fortalecimento da agricultura familiar. A vivência
em práticas agroecológicas, foi realizada entre
os meses de outubro 2016 a janeiro de 2017,
promovido pela Associação das Cooperativas
de Apoio a Economia Familiar- ASCOOB,
em parceria com a Universidade Federal do
Recôncavo da Bahia- UFRB, desenvolvida
e atuada na área de Assistência Técnica e
Extensão Rural (ATER), em Municípios do
Recôncavo da Bahia. A vivência se dividiu em
três etapas distintas, sendo a primeira uma
capacitação nas áreas específicas do estágio.
Abrangendo desde o histórico, missão, visão,
cooperativas filiadas, área de atuação da
cooperativa e atividades a serem desenvolvida
durante o período do estágio. Depois a
socialização com os agricultores e, por fim, o
acompanhamento da assistência técnica e
extensão rural aos agricultores. Contudo o
agente técnico em ATER exerce um papel muito
importante para os agricultores, no andamento
do processo das chamadas públicas abrindo
caminhos para a promoção do desenvolvimento
rural e da agricultura familiar

Abstract:
Agroecology is a multidisciplinary
science, whose principles provide the
construction of ecologically based farming styles,
focused on the development of sustainable
rural development strategies. In this context,
the objective is to report the experience of the
Meio Ambiente, Sustentabilidade e Agroecologia 5 Capítulo 16 152
agroecological experiences and practices in technical assistance and rural extension
(ATER), presenting the reality of the family farmers in the rural communities of the
Municipalities of the Recôncavo of Bahia to strengthen family farming. The experience
in agroecological practices was carried out between October 2016 and January
2017, promoted by the Association of Cooperatives to Support the Family Economy -
ASCOOB, in partnership with the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia - UFRB,
developed and operated in the area Of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension
(ATER), in Municipalities of the Recôncavo of Bahia. The experience was divided in
three distinct stages, the first one being a qualification in the specific areas of the
stage. Covering from the history, mission, vision, affiliated cooperatives, area of activity
of the cooperative and activities to be developed during the internship period. Then
socialization with farmers and, finally, the monitoring of technical assistance and rural
extension to farmers. However, the technical agent at ATER plays a very important role
for the farmers in the process of public calls, opening the way for the promotion of rural
development and family agriculture
