VISÕES MÍTICAS NA POÉTICA DE SOPHIA DE MELLO BREYNER ANDRESEN E O EFEITO CASSANDRA EM DISCURSOS MIDIÁTICOS
Este artigo apresenta um estudo
do divino mítico feminino na poesia lírica de
Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen e na poesia
épica de Homero, induzindo reflexões sobre o
caráter pedagógico dos mitos e sobre a cultura
do sacrifício feminino da antiguidade clássica
grega à contemporaneidade, concentrandose
no mito de Cassandra e nos efeitos que
ele exerce nas sociedades brasileira e norteamericana
por meio de discursos midiáticos.
Teorias de pensadores como Bakthin, Barthes,
Cassirer, Campbell, Eliade, Jaeger e Harari
fundamentaram o desenvolvimento deste
trabalho científico, que, para além da literatura,
identifica criticamente a construção e a
desconstrução de mitos femininos no campo
da política baseado em textos publicados em
jornais e revistas sobre Dilma Rousseff e Hillary
Clinton. Os resultados das análises temáticas,
formais e estruturais dos discursos poéticos e
midiáticos investigados sinalizam a importância
de se intensificar os debates democráticos
sobre conservadorismo e questões de gênero,
bem como sobre a orientação masculina ainda
fortemente enraizada nos sistemas educativos
e de comunicação da sociedade brasileira do
século XXI.

Abstract:
This paper presents a study of
the feminine mythical divine in Sophia de Mello
Breyner Andresen’s lyric poetry and in Homer’s
epic poetry, inducing reflections about the
pedagogical character of the myths and about
the culture of female sacrifice from classical
Greek antiquity to contemporaneity, focusing
the myth of Cassandra and the effects that this
myth exerts in Brazilian and American societies
through media discourses. Theories of thinkers
such as Bakthin, Barthes, Cassirer, Campbell,
Eliade, Jaeger and Harari substantiated the
development of this scientific work, which, in
addition to literature, critically identifies the
construction and the deconstruction of feminine
myths in the field of politics based on texts
published in newspapers and magazines about
Dilma Rousseff and Hillary Clinton. The results
of the thematic, formal and structural analyzes
of the literary and media discourses investigated
signaled the importance of intensifying democratic debates about conservatism and
gender issues, as well as about the masculine orientation still strongly rooted in the
education and communication systems of Brazilian society of the 21st century.
