VISITA A UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA POR ACADÊMICAS DE ENFERMAGEM: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
A formação acadêmica e profissional
de enfermeiro requer um ensino de qualidade,
que confira competência na realização de
atividades prático-teóricas assistenciais
e gerenciais (Nascimento, 2007). Nesta
perspectiva este estudo relata a vivência de
acadêmicas de enfermagem do sétimo semestre
em visita técnica a uma Unidade de Terapia
Intensiva (UTI) de um Hospital filantrópico
em Cuiabá - MT. Durante a visita foi possível
conhecer o ambiente hospitalar em sua estrutura
física, a qualidade dos recursos ofertados na
unidade, o perfil dos pacientes internados, bem
como entender o funcionamento do sistema
de saúde. A partir dessas observações foram
feitas comparações com a resolução que define
e regulamenta as unidades de internação de
pacientes graves. Proporcionando reflexão da
necessidade de conhecimentos e estrutura,
visando resolutividade e qualidade da
assistência prestada.

Abstract:
The academic and professional
education of nurses requires quality teaching
that confers competence in carrying out practical
and theoretical assistance and management
activities (Nascimento, 2007). In this perspective,
this study reports the experience of seventh
semester nursing students on a technical visit to
an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a philanthropic
hospital in Cuiabá - MT. During the visit it was
possible to know the hospital environment in its
physical structure, the quality of the resources
offered in the unit, its routine, the profile of
hospitalized patients, as well as understand the
functioning of the health system. From these
observations, comparisons were made with
the resolution that defines and regulates the
critical area units of hospitalization of critically
ill patients. Providing reflection of the need for
specific knowledge and material resources to
act in the referred unit, aiming at resolution and
quality of care provided.
