VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA DIRIGIDA À MULHER: UMA REFLEXÃO A PARTIR DA REALIDADE BRASILEIRA
Este artigo discute a violência doméstica dirigida à mulher no momento atual da sociedade brasileira, considerando o fato do Brasil ocupar a quinta posição no mundo entre os países com maior risco de feminicídio. Entre as medidas que foram realizadas para reduzir esses níveis, destaca-se a Lei Maria da Penha (Lei nº 11.340/06), a Lei do Feminicídio (Lei nº 13.104/15) e políticas de proteção e de atenção às mulheres vítimas de agressão. Esse trabalho consiste em um texto de abordagem teórica com aplicação de método bibliográfico que objetiva tratar a violência doméstica dirigida às mulheres sob uma reflexão da realidade brasileira. Verifica-se que o país possui índices elevados e crescentes de violência, que podem ser compreendidos a partir da análise histórica e estrutural da sociedade, marcada pelo machismo e patriarcalismo. Para o enfrentamento desse contexto, fazem se necessárias políticas públicas para diminuição das desigualdades sociais, em especial de gênero.

Abstract:
This article discusses domestic violence directed at women at the present time in Brazilian society, considering the fact that Brazil occupies the fifth position in the world among the countries with the greatest risk of femicide. Among the measures that were taken to reduce these levels, the Maria da Penha Law (Law nº 11.340 / 06), the Feminicide Law (Law nº 13.104 / 15) and protection and care policies for women victims of aggression stand out . This work consists of a text with a theoretical approach with the application of a bibliographic method that aims to treat domestic violence directed at women under a reflection of the Brazilian reality. It appears that the country has high and growing rates of violence, which can be understood from the historical and structural analysis of society, marked by machismo and patriarchalism. To face this context, public policies are necessary to reduce social inequalities, especially gender.
