VIOLÊNCIA DE TRÂNSITO NA CIDADE DE ERECHIM/RS – PERFIL
Os acidentes de trânsito se tornaram
uma grande preocupação para a sociedade, o
elevado número de veículos em circulação, a
desorganização do trânsito, a falha geral da
fiscalização, as condições inadequadas dos
veículos em movimento e a impunidade dos
infratores contribuem significativamente para o
alto índice de acidentes de trânsito nos centros
urbanos. Desta forma, objetivou-se analisar
o perfil dos acidentes de trânsito na cidade
de Erechim/RS. Trata-se de uma pesquisa
quantitativa, descritiva e com caráter prospectivo
sobre os acidentes de trânsito ocorridos na
cidade em agosto de 2017. A pesquisa passou
pela aprovação do CEP da Universidade e
aconteceu junto à diretoria de trânsito da cidade
e ao 13º Batalhão da Polícia Militar. Foi possível
perceber que dos 146 acidentes ocorridos no
mês de agosto na cidade de Erechim, o fator
humano é o maior contribuinte para acidentes
de trânsito (90%). Ainda, foi possível determinar
que, dos envolvidos nos acidentes, o maior
número foi de pessoas do sexo masculino
(68,4%). Os acidentes ocorreram também
com pessoas com menos ou até dez anos de
carteira de habilitação e com pouca idade. Após
a pesquisa, foi possível inferir, que o número
de acidentes de transito na cidade de Erechim
é elevado e muitos deles são evitáveis, por
este motivo é necessário investir na educação
dos futuros motoristas, para evitar acidentes e
preparar condutores mais conscientes.

Abstract:
Traffic accidents have become a
major concern for society, the high number of
vehicles in circulation, the disorganization of traffic, the general failure of surveillance,
the inadequate conditions of moving vehicles, the inadequate conditions of vehicles in
service and the impunity of the traffic offenders contribute significantly to the high rate
of traffic accidents in urban centers. In this way, the objective was to analyze the profile
of traffic accidents in the city of Erechim / RS. This is a quantitative, descriptive and
prospective study about the traffic accidents that occurred in the city in August 2017.
The research was approved by the CEP of the University and occurred next to the
traffic director of the city and to the 13th the Military Police Battalion. It was possible to
notice that of the 146 accidents occurred in the month of August in the city of Erechim,
the human factor is the largest contributor to traffic accidents (90%). Furthermore, it
was possible to determine that, of those involved in accidents, the largest number were
male (68.4%). Accidents also occurred for those who are using the driver's license for
less than or ten years and the youngest drivers. After the research, it was possible to
infer that the number of traffic accidents in the city of Erechim is high and many of them
are avoidable, so it is necessary to invest in the education of future drivers, to avoid
accidents and prepare more conscious drivers.
