VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER NO MUNICÍPIO DE CAMPO GRANDE, MATO GROSSO DO SUL
A violência contra a mulher é
um importante problema de saúde pública,
resultando em relevante impacto negativo para a
comunidade. É necessário ampliar a discussão
da temática, sobretudo por meio da divulgação
de pesquisas científicas. Objetivo:Apresentar o
número de casos de violência contra mulheres
entre 10 a 60 anos ou mais, que sofreram
algum tipo de violência no período de 2009 a
2017 no município de Campo Grande, Mato
Grosso do Sul.Materiais e métodos:Trata-se
de um estudo epidemiológico descritivo, com
base em dados secundários disponibilizados
na Sala de Apoio a Gestão Estratégica -SAGE
e do Departamento de Informática do Sistema
Único de Saúde – DATASUS, referentes ao
período de janeiro de 2009 a dezembro de
2017.Resultado e discussão: A ocorrência
de violência contra a mulher chegou a ser
44% maior do que a ocorrência entre o sexo
masculino. O total de casos somados no período
foi de 19.423 registros.As agressões ocorreram
em todas as faixas etárias, sendo que os índices
mais elevados se apresentaram na faixa etária
entre 20 e 29 anos.Considerações finais:A
ocorrência de casos de violência no município
de Campo Grande é maior no sexo feminino.
Sabe-se que o enfrentamento à violência
contra as mulheres é uma tarefa difícil, exigindo
a implementação adequada das políticas
públicas, ampliação e melhoria da rede de
serviços de atenção à mulher. Neste contexto, é
fundamental destacar a atuação do enfermeiro
como integrante da equipe multiprofissional,
sobretudo na Atenção Primária à Saúde, na
identificação e acompanhamento de mulheres
em situação de violência na comunidade.

Abstract:
Violence against women is
a major public health problem, resulting in
significant negative impact on the community. It
is necessary to broaden the discussion of the
theme, especially through the dissemination of
scientific research. Objective:To present the
number of cases of violence against women
aged 10 to 60 years or older, who suffered any
kind of violence from 2009 to 2017 in the city of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do
Sul. Materials and methods: This is a descriptive epidemiological study, based on
secondary data available in the Strategic Management Support Room - SAGE and
the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System - DATASUS, fromJanuary
2009 to December 2017. Result and discussion: The occurrence of violence against
women was 44% higher than the occurrence among males. The total number of cases
added in the period was 19,423 records. The aggressions occurred in all age groups,
and the highest rates were in the age group between 20 and 29 years. The aggressions

Campo Grande is higher in females. Coping with violence against women is known to
be a difficult task, requiring proper implementation of public policies, expanding and
improving the network of women’s care services. In this context, it is essential to highlight
the role of nurses as part of the multidisciplinary team, especially in Primary Health
Care, in identifying and monitoring women in situations of violence in the community.
